1. Getting Started - Adding users, deals, and contacts

This section will cover the following topics:

  • Adding users. Quickly learn how to invite fellow salespeople to join your Pipedrive account.
  • Adding Deals/People/Organizations.. By manually adding deals, this will demonstrate to you how to populate your pipeline, as well as how your contact-specific information and deal-specific information gets tied together.



2. Activity-based sales - The Pipeline view

This section will cover the following topics:

  • The Pipeline view: This section will show you what separates Pipedrive from the competition. Our focus is to take the business intelligence of a good CRM, and create something more intuitive with it. Our Pipeline view will show your sales reps what actions they need to perform for the day, every time they log in to the system. Imagine a CRM that tells your team what to do, as opposed to your team having to ask your CRM what to do!

  • Activities: Scheduling activities for follow-up from your Pipeline view; very important for the Pipeline concept.



3. Customizing Pipedrive

This section will cover the following topics:

  • Customizing your Pipeline View: Learn how to set up your own unique set of stages in your Pipeline, as well as how to create additional pipelines.
  • Adding Custom Fields: Learn how to create additional custom fields for your People, Organizations, and Deals, as well as where those fields should be added.
  • Google Maps Integration: Learn how Pipedrive geo-codes it's address-type custom fields with Google Maps; allowing you to view all of your prospects on a map view.
  • Customizing your Activity types: Pipedrive can also create custom types of activities; allowing you to name and label your activities however you wish



4. The list view - custom reporting and bulk editing 

This section will cover the following topics:

  • Custom Filtering/Reporting/Deleting: Learn how you can filter you Pipeline view, or even the list view, by specific criteria. You can create cross-item filters as well as filter your deals or contacts by the custom fields you've created. Once filtered, the results of your filter can be exported to a spreadsheet, or you can even bulk delete the results of the filter; allowing you to delete only specific criteria.
  • Bulk Editing: Learn how you can edit multiple items at once with our bulk editor.



5. Revenue projection - The Forecast view

This section will cover the following topic:

  • The Forecast View: Pipedrive boasts it's own Forecast view which allows you to visually track your revenue as it's brought in as well as project future estimated revenue.



6. Products

This section will cover the following topic:

  • The Products Feature: A nifty little feature which allows you to establish a custom catalogue of product which you can then associate to deals, and track in reporting.



7. Data & visibility

This section will cover the following topics:

  • The Deal Detail View: Learn the focus-driven design of your deal detail view. This is the go-to detail view of each discussion you have with a client.
  • Followers/Sharing data: The Followers feature will allow you to subscribe to a deal, and receive notifications of updates on that deal within Pipedrive.
  • Visibility & Permissions: Pipedrive is hosted with industry-standard providers such as RackSpace & Amazon to keep your data secure, but when you're using Pipedrive, who else in your own team can see your data? Learn how visibility and permissions of data are handled by default in the system, as well as how admins can establish different permissions if necessary.



8. Email integration

This section will cover the following topics:

  • Smart Email BCC: By BCC'ing or CC'ing the Universal Address of this feature, you'll have your email delivered to the system and Pipedrive will then automatically create/link the email to a contact as well as connect the email to any deal currently open for the contact, all through recognition of the contact's email address. You can even forward their responses to the same Universal Address and they'll be tracked as replies.



9. Company statistics & pipeline metrics

This section will cover the following topics:

  • Company Statistics. See how Pipedrive will visually provide statistics on your deals and activities. This can be broken down by the entire company, per pipeline, as well as on a personal per-rep basis.
  • Deal conversion: This will allow you to understand the efficiency of your sales process and give you insight on where there can be improvement.



10. Importing spreadsheets

This section will cover the following topics:

  • Importing data: Import from a spreadsheet, or use a third party tool (Import2) to migrate data from one CRM to another.
