What happens to my billing when I deactivate a user in Pipedrive?

Note: This action is only available to users with Account Settings access.

When you deactivate a user, you will see a pop-up with the information assigned to that user, as well as the option to remove that unused seat.

  • If you remove this unused seat, the changes will take effect at the beginning of your next billing cycle. If you fill the seats with new users before this date, the seats won't be removed.
  • If you do not remove this unused seat, the seat will still exist in your account and billing remains unchanged.

If you want to remove seats from your account after deactivating users in the past, go to your billing section and click on "Manage seats".

Then, choose the desired number of seats. The changes for seat downgrade will take effect at the beginning of your next billing cycle. If you fill the seats with new users before this date, the seats won't be removed from your billing.
