Why are emails sent to a deal-specific BCC addresses showing up under the wrong deal?

This is likely because the email sent is not connected to an email thread where the original email was sent to a different person/contact person. If this is the case, this last email sent (connected to this thread) would be connected to the contact person/deal that the original email of the thread was sent to as it is part of that same conversation.

Causes of emails being part of the same thread include when an email is forwarded from the sent items to a different person than the original was sent to (some people do this to send a 'template' to many people), or in the case where a reply is made to a different person than the original conversation was happening with.

One solution is to copy the content of the original email and then forward this in a new message to the BCC address.
