Pipedrive has two older Mailchimp integrations: the legacy "Mailchimp sync" app and the newer Mailchimp app launched at the end of 2025. Both are being replaced by the new Mailchimp integration, powered by Outfunnel.

Facebook Lead Ads let you run lead generation campaigns on Facebook and Instagram. By default, Facebook stores new leads on its platform and you can download them as a CSV file. Without an integration, you'd have to export the CSV and import it into Pipedrive manually.

With the Facebook Lead Ads sync, new leads are added to Pipedrive automatically, saving you time. The sync lets you:

Automatically add Facebook Lead Ads submissions to Pipedrive as contacts. No more manual exporting and importing.

Map custom fields so all the data you need reaches Pipedrive, and your sales team can create filters to categorize incoming leads.

Create leads, deals, activities or notes in Pipedrive for each submission.

Choose the default and custom fields you want to sync and in which direction. Then choose which app wins in case of a conflict.

Data conflicts

Conflicts usually occur during the initial sync, when a mapped field value differs between the two apps.
Initial sync

After you activate the connection, an initial sync merges your databases and contacts start appearing on the sync status page. The initial sync usually takes a few minutes but can take up to a few hours, depending on the number of contacts.

The status page also shows contacts that failed to sync, with actionable feedback on how to fix them.

How the initial sync matches contacts

The sync first looks for an existing contact with the same email address. If one is found, the two are linked. If not, a new contact is created. If several contacts share the same email address, the oldest one is linked and no duplicates are created.

In Mailchimp, contacts are subscribed to the audience. Manually unsubscribed and archived contacts are resubscribed during the initial sync. To avoid this, remove them from the source segment. Bounced and opted-out contacts are not resubscribed.

Continuous sync

After the initial sync completes, a continuous sync checks for updates. As long as a contact matches the rule, changes to its profile in the source app are synced to the destination app.

Exiting the sync

When a contact stops matching the rules, updates stop, but the contact is not deleted from the destination app.
