Sync multiple email accounts

Note: Email sync is available on Growth and higher plans. To sync more than one email account at the same time, upgrade to the Premium or Ultimate plan.

Syncing multiple email accounts helps you keep all communication in one place, even if you work across roles, teams or customer segments.


How many accounts can I sync

The number of accounts you can sync depends on your Pipedrive plan:

Note: A personal account connects your own email to Pipedrive and is managed only by you. A team account connects a shared inbox, such as [email protected], allowing multiple users to manage emails.

How to add another email account

Open the account menu in the top-right corner and go to Personal preferences > Email sync.

Click + Email account“ to add another email account.

After connecting the email account, choose whether to sync it as a personal account or a team account.

Set your initial visibility, sharing, and sync settings. Once ready, click “Start sync”.

After setup, all synced accounts appear on the email sync settings page.


Default email account

Note: The first email account you sync becomes your default, but you can change this at any time.

Your default email account is the primary account Pipedrive uses to send emails, including emails sent through automations. It also appears first when composing emails in your Sales Inbox or item detail views.

To change the default account, go to Personal preferences > Email sync, select an account and enable “Default email account”.

Note: If you disable the default email account setting, your email automations will stop working.

Once set, this account appears first when composing emails in Pipedrive. To switch the sender, click the from field, then choose another synced account.


View conversations from multiple accounts

After syncing, all connected accounts appear in Sales Inbox.

Select “Inbox” to see emails from all accounts in one view or choose a specific account to filter the list.

This setup keeps communication organized while giving you full control over how you send and view emails.
