<p style="text-align: justify">The <strong>Products </strong>feature is available in all plans and you can enable or disable it by going to <strong>Tools and apps &gt; <a href="https://app.pipedrive.com/settings/products" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Products</a></strong>. Here, you can also select the <strong>default tax setting</strong>.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">To add a product to your Pipedrive account, go to the <strong>Products</strong> tab found on the left-hand side of the Pipedrive app and click “<strong>+ Product.“</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify">In the window that appears, you can fill in the details about the product and configure its <a href="https://support.pipedrive.com/hc/en/articles/360000309498-Visibility-Groups" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">visibility</a>.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">In the list view you’ll be able to see your added products and edit product details directly.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">You can <a href="https://support.pipedrive.com/article/filtering" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">filter</a> for products alphabetically in the top left corner of the screen or create custom filters.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">The <strong>deals tab</strong> will give a list of all of the deals that currently have that product linked. You can filter to view by deal status in the row above the list. <p style="text-align: justify">You can add products directly to deals in the <strong>products list view</strong> by clicking on the checkbox next to a product and then clicking on the “<strong>Attach to deal</strong>” button.</p>

Can I add extra fields to the "Add new product" modal?

<p style="text-align: justify">You can create different price points for the same product with our <strong>Price variations</strong> feature. This feature can also be used as a way to create general variations for the same product, as you can create product variations with different names, unit prices, currencies and costs per unit.<br></p>



<p style="text-align: justify">Variations can be configured from the <strong>detail view</strong> of the product in question. </p>

Can I have one product in different price variations?

<div class="support-note warning"><strong>Note:</strong> Starting March 11th, 2024, the <strong>Product Duration</strong> feature is no longer available for new customers. For customers currently using this feature, it will be removed in phases leading up to June 3rd, 2024. After this date, <strong>Product Duration</strong> will no longer be available. As an alternative, you can use the <strong><a href="https://support.pipedrive.com/article/recurring-products" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">recurring products feature</a></strong>.<br></div>
<p>The <strong>Product Duration</strong> feature enables you to use an additional field when attaching products to deals.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">You can choose a product duration when <a href="https://support.pipedrive.com/hc/en/articles/115001109169-How-can-I-add-products-to-a-deal-" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">linking a product to a deal</a>.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">This is useful in the context of both time and amount-related products, such as hoteling or warehouse services.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">For example, if the product is a hotel room, <strong>Product Duration</strong> could be used to indicate the number of nights a potential client might occupy that room. So the <em>price</em> is per night and the <em>duration</em> is the length of the stay, defining the deal value (Price x Duration = Value.)</p>

<h2>Export product duration values</h2>
<div class="support-note success primary"><strong>Note:</strong> This action is only available to users with deals and global admin permissions enabled.</div>
<p style="text-align: justify">You can export your product catalog and the products linked to deals by going to <strong>Tools and apps &gt; <a href="https://app.pipedrive.com/settings/export" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Export data.</a></strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Select <strong>“</strong><strong>Products<strong>“</strong></strong> and one of the export options:</p>
<ul><li>Entire product catalog</li><li>Only products added to deals</li></ul>

Your export file will appear in the <strong>“</strong><strong>Generated exports<strong>“</strong></strong> list. To download the file, click on the cloud icon in the <strong>“</strong><strong>Available until</strong><strong>“</strong> column.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">To ensure your data remains accurate, we recommend the following steps based on the <strong>duration units</strong> you’ve used:</p><ul><li>If you’ve used <strong>daily or hourly product duration units</strong>, you can still add your data to the product notes field or migrate it to other fields until [date]. The easiest way to do this is to adjust the product quantity field – either manually or using our API – to reflect your expected earnings. For example, if you’re offering one hotel room for a duration of six nights, you can adjust the product quantity field from one to six.</li></ul><ul><li>If you’ve used <strong>weekly, monthly or yearly product duration units</strong>, you’ll be able to merge your product duration data into the new recurring products or product quantity fields. We recommend adding duration value or unit details to your product notes before [date]. You can email us within 90 days of this date to access a record of your old data.”</li></ul>

Product Duration

<p style="text-align: justify">While you can <a href="https://support.pipedrive.com/article/importing-data-into-pipedrive-with-spreadsheets" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">import</a> a list of <a href="https://support.pipedrive.com/article/products" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">products</a> into Pipedrive, unfortunately, you cannot attach these products to deals through the import process.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify"> Currently, this can only be done manually, or through our <a href="https://developers.pipedrive.com/docs/api/v1" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">API</a> if you are a skilled developer or have dedicated engineering staff at your disposal.</p>

Can I import products and automatically link them to deals?

Configure recurring products to repeat on a regular basis and automatically estimate the revenue of your deals.

<h2 style="text-align: justify">How can I add recurring products?<a name="how-can-i-add-recurring-products"></a></h2>
<p style="text-align: justify">To add a recurring product to your Pipedrive account, go to the <strong>Products</strong> tab found on the left-hand side of the Pipedrive app and click “<strong>+ Product.“</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify">Then, you can fill in the details about the product and configure the billing frequency.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">If you want to add a billing frequency to an existing product, open the detail view and hover over the <strong>”Billing frequency”</strong> field in the sidebar. Then, click the pencil icon.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">You can create proposals and quotes with <a href="https://www.pipedrive.com/en/features/smart-docs-add-on" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Smart Docs</a> with recurring products. Recurring product fields are included in the default <strong>product table</strong> placeholder.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify">Upon adding recurring products to your deals, you’ll be able to see the expected revenue. Click <strong>”Revenue”</strong> next to the summary to see a breakdown of revenue values that the deal will bring.</p>

<h2>Product installments<a name="product-installments"></a></h2>
<p style="text-align: justify">Alongside one-time products, deals can also include <strong>installments</strong>, which break down payment information over the course of a project or service delivery.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">This feature helps provide clear <a href="https://support.pipedrive.com/article/insights-revenue-forecast" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">revenue insights</a> and accurate projections by detailing expected payments throughout the project duration.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">To add installments to a deal, open the added products and select the <strong>“Installments”</strong> tab. Then, click <strong>“+ Add installment”</strong>.</p>

<p>There could be a few reasons why your Installments tab is not clickable.</p>
