Note: The Products feature is one of the many useful features of Pipedrive’s Advanced, Professional, and Enterprise plans. To learn how to switch plans, click here.
Enabling the Products feature
As not all customers may require the Products feature, it is not enabled by default in Pipedrive.
If you would like to enable this feature…
- Go to Settings > Customize > Features in your Pipedrive account.
- Find the Products feature, and click On.
Once the feature has been turned on, the Products feature is now enabled for your company Pipedrive account.
The feature can now be accessed from the Go to Products link found in the Settings > Customize > Features page, or through the Products tab found at the top of the Pipedrive app.
Note: Enabling the Products feature will also generate two other options in the Features tab — Price variations and Product durations. Both of these features enable further fields to provide further detail for the products in your Pipedrive account.
Adding New Products
To add a Product to your Pipedrive account, go to the Products tab found at the top of the Pipedrive app, and click Add Product.
In the window that appears, you can fill in the details about the product and configure its visibility settings. Product Name and Unit price are mandatory fields.
Once you save the product, you will be able to edit these additional fields in your Products Detail view or List view.

You can also add new products in the Add deal window when adding new deals to your Pipedrive account.
Products List view
In the Products list view, you will be able to see your added products and edit product details directly.
You can filter for products alphabetically in the top left corner of the screen, or create custom filters. To read more about filtering, click here.
To bulk edit your products, you can click on the checkboxes to the left of your products and select the field you want to edit in the Bulk Edit panel that appears on the right side.
To delete products, you can select your products and click on the trash can icon that shows up in the bulk edit panel.
Linking Products to Deals
You can add products directly to deals in the Products List View by clicking on the checkbox next to a product and then clicking on the Attach to deal button. You can select more than one product to bulk add products to a deal.
In the window that appears, you can enter the title of the deal that you wish to link your product to.
The price and currency will default to the price you have saved in your Product, but you can customize this to another currency and price before linking it to the deal.
You can click on Add a new line to attach more than one Product to the chosen deal at a time.
To disable and enable the product, you can toggle the switch next to the Product title.
You can also add a note to the product or delete the product by clicking on the note or trash can icons.
Note: Any custom prices created in this window will only apply for that deal and not be saved as a price entry in the Product's detail/list view.
If you select Tax inclusive for your products, the tax will already be included in the subtotal, according to the percentage you enter into the Tax field.
If you select No tax for your products, no tax will be added to your product total.
Note: Each deal can only have products in one type of currency (e.g. USD or CAD, not both). If you wish to add a variation of the product in the same type of currency, you can look into the Price Variations feature.
To add a note to the product before it's linked to the deal, you can click on the note button next to the product entry amount.
To delete the product entry, click on the trash can icon.
You can also link Products to deals by clicking on Add products to in the Deal detail view.
Product Detail View
If you click on the Product's name from the Products list view, you will be taken to the Product's detail page where you can view and edit information related to your Product.
Edit the Product's details
To edit the values of the fields, click on the pencil icon in the product details window.
If you want to rearrange the order you see the fields in, you can click on the Customize fields button, and click and drag the two bar icon to move your fields. You will also have the option to add Product custom fields in this section by clicking on Customize fields > Add new field.
Add followers and Participants to the product
You can click on Start following to follow the product yourself, or the '+' button in the Followers section to add another user in your company account as a follower.
To add participants to the product, you can click on the '+' button next to the Participants section.
View and add product prices
The Prices tab will show you all of the price options for that product. Each product can have more than one price listed at a time.
To edit or delete any existing product prices, you can hover over the price and click on the pencil or trash can icon.
- Unit Price
The price of each unit sold.
- Cost per Unit
Cost related to each sold unit of the product.
- Direct Cost
Cost related to the development or production of the product.
Note: Only the Unit Price will be displayed in the Products list view and detail view. The Cost per Unit and Direct Cost fields are purely notational.
If you click on the Add price button, you can add a new price for your product.
Note: You will only be able to add one price entry for each type of currency.
View deals linked to the product
The Deals tab will give a list of all of the deals that currently have that product linked. You can filter to view by deal status in the row above the list.
To adjust the columns in your deals list, you can click on the gear icon on the right side and adjust your columns accordingly.
To export the list you see to a spreadsheet, you can click on the Export button.
View and upload files
In the Files tab, you can see any files that have been uploaded to this product, as well as upload additional files from your device.
If you click on the '...' button you can add a description, download, or delete your file.
Filtering for Products
With the Products feature enabled, you will see Product-type fields as an option within your filters.
This allows you to narrow down your searches or export your data according to Product-specific fields.
