Our deliverability and compliance team reviews all sender accounts thoroughly to ensure that campaigns sent through Pipedrive are safe for all recipients.

If a Campaigns account is not compliant with our guidelines or terms of service, our team will proceed to block and suspend it.


Why is my Campaigns account suspended?

Your account can be suspended due to any of the following reasons:

  • Your contacts were obtained from a public database or a third-party vendor. We require that your contacts subscribe to your company newsletters directly and knowingly.

  • You sent or tried to send an email campaign with phishing content

  • You’ve committed service abuse such as subscriber volume limit usage ratio (e.g., removing and adding new subscribers beyond the monthly fee plan)

  • No proof of subscribed contact opt-in consent was provided to the compliance team when the campaign service reputation was affected

  • You’re not following Campaigns alerts and tips to improve unfavorable results (e.g., using a blocklisted domain, high abuse and unsubscribe rate, low engagement rates, etc.)

  • Your Campaigns account is not compliant with our Campaigns Terms of Use (e.g., using prohibited industry content)

  • You failed to provide the required information to our compliance team over time


How do I know my account was suspended?

To know whether your account is suspended, look for a banner that specifies about your account’s suspension and the reasoning for it in your Campaigns section. We’ll also send you notifications with information about your suspension.


Can I send emails from my account when suspended?

No. You won’t be able to send out any email campaigns during your suspension period. This means functions like regular campaigns, scheduled campaigns, automated campaigns and double opt-in emails will be disabled. Nevertheless, during your suspension, you can still copy and draft new campaigns.


How can I remove the suspension from my account?

To resolve any suspension issues, please reach out to our support team for further instructions.


How can I avoid account suspension?

Here are some tips to avoid account suspension:

  • Follow email delivery and reputation tips and email marketing best practices to avoid damaging your sender reputation

  • Comply with our Campaigns Terms of Service

  • Avoid sending out any phishing, fraudulent or abusive emails

  • Ensure your contacts have explicitly agreed to receive emails from your business.
