Note: The Automations feature is only available on Advanced, Professional, Power, Enterprise, Growth, Premium and Ultimate plans. You can find the latest information about new plans in this article.

When setting up automations to streamline your company’s processes in Pipedrive, it’s important to be aware of the technical limitations that may impact how you structure them.

The number of active automations allowed depends on your company’s Pipedrive plan. You can learn more about usage limits in this article and check your current usage by opening the account menu at the top right corner and going to Company settings > Usage.

Note: Starting from September 30, 2025, we’re replacing the automation per seat limit with an automation per company limit in the old Pipedrive plans. If you’re on an annual billing cycle, your company will be transitioned to the new limits on your next renewal after September 30. Once the new limit applies, your active automations will continue running; however, you won’t be able to add, edit, share, or reactivate automations unless you’re below the limit.

Each automation can have a maximum of ten actions built into it per path, and a total time limit of 90 days per path.

Each automation can have a maximum of ten delay steps per path, except for Advanced plan companies, which are limited to three.

To prevent unmanageable loops in your process, each unique trigger for an automation can occur once in a one-minute window. Your company account can run an individual automation up to 5,000 times, and all automations up to 10,000 times, within any ten-minute window.

Note: If you’re using action events that involve your email provider, please note that your provider may also have limitations regarding how many emails can be sent in a specific timeframe.
