Is document tracking with Smart Docs GDPR compliant?

Note: The Smart Docs feature is included on the Professional and higher plans and is available for Essential and Advanced plans as an add-on.
As Pipedrive is fully committed to meeting GDPR requirements, we only track views on a document created with the Smart Docs feature if the recipient grants us permission to do so.
When a recipient opens the link for the document, they will see this notification prompting them for permission to track and store cookies. It is only after they accept that Pipedrive will start tracking the viewing activity.
