Note: This article guides you on organizing your data using filters. For more information on common uses for filters, refer to this article.

Filtering information helps you narrow down your list to the specific data you need. This allows you to segment your data efficiently, plan your next steps, become more knowledgeable about your conversion rate and increase your efficiency.

With that in mind, we have added quick filter capabilities to the deal pipeline, deal list view and contact list view to help you easily segment your data and gain faster access to the information you need.

Where to find the quick filters

You can access the quick filters from

  • The deal pipeline, where you can select the pipeline you need
  • The deal list view, where you can also filter by pipeline
  • The contact list view

The quick filter toolbar is located between the view selection toolbar and the data table.

If no filters are currently selected, you’ll only see the “Add condition” button.

How to add filter conditions

You have two options for filtering your data:

  • The quick filter toolbar

  • The list view column headers.

Using the quick filter toolbar

To add a filter from the toolbar, click the “Add condition” button.

When adding a condition, you’ll see the five most recent conditions you used. If you haven‘t used quick filters before, we‘ll suggest some useful conditions.

Applying a new condition adds it to the top of the most recent list, while reusing a previous one moves it to the top and avoids duplicates.

Then, select or search for the field you want to filter by (e.g., title, owner, stage).

Choose the operator (such as is, contains or is more than) and enter the value for the condition.

Note: You can currently choose up to ten quick filter conditions simultaneously.

Using list view column headers

You can also apply filters directly to specific columns in your list. To do this:

Click the column header you want to filter by and select “Filter column.”

Choose the operator (e.g., is, contains or is more than) and enter the value for the condition.

Managing active filters

Once you have added conditions, they’ll appear side-by-side in the quick filters toolbar.

Editing conditions

To edit an existing filter, click any of the condition chips in the quick filters toolbar and change its operator from the dropdown or its value.

For example, you can change a condition from Value is 1000 (which would bring only exact amounts) to Value is more than 100 (which would bring anything over 100) to broaden your results.

Removing conditions

To remove a single condition, click the “X” next to the condition name.

To remove all active quick filters at once, click the “Clear” button in the toolbar.

Saving quick filters

If you want to reuse a set of quick filters in the future, you can save them as an advanced filter. Click the Save button and choose one of the following options:

  • Add as filter: will save your filter for future use in the Filters dropdown.

  • Update current filter: this option is only available if you’ve already started from a preexisting filter

Save as a new filter

This option creates a completely new advanced filter that will be stored in your Filters dropdown.

After selecting this option, you‘ll view the Create new filter dialogue, where you can see the selected conditions, name the filter and set its visibility.

Update current filter

If you already had an advanced filter applied (e.g., “Top high-value clients”), you can update it with your new quick filter conditions.

This appends the new conditions to the bottom of the existing advanced conditions list.

Please observe that an advanced filter can have a maximum of 16 conditions. You can only save new quick filter conditions to a filter that has fewer than 16 total conditions, and up to the maximum of 16 conditions.

Scenario 1: Your filter already had 16 conditions:

  • You’ll see a message informing you that the new conditions can’t be added.

  • You can clear some applied conditions or reset the filter to continue.

Scenario 2: Your filter initially had fewer than 16 conditions, but adding the quick filter conditions exceeded the 16-condition limit.

  • Conditions will be added up to the 16-condition limit

  • The remaining ones will be left at the quick filter toolbar

  • You’ll still be able to review the conditions and choose to remove or add some

  • You also have the ability to cancel saving it

Note: The total filter count across the account is 5,000. After this limit is reached, you’ll need to delete old filters to add new ones.

Sharing filtered results

The URL in your web browser updates dynamically to reflect the filters you have applied.

You can share this URL with a colleague to show them the exact same data segment, provided they have the same visibility permissions. You can also bookmark this URL for future access.
