Can I link custom fields to multiple items?

Custom fields are currently only linked to one item — Deal, Person, or Organization — at a time. If you require the same data to appear on two different category of items, you’ll need to replicate the custom field.

For example, if you wanted to enter business hours for all your People and Organizations, you would need two custom fields — one for People, and one for Organizations.
