<p style="text-align: justify">Web Visitors adds a tracking script to your website to collect visitor information and present you with reports of which companies are visiting your website and the amount of activity each visitor contributes to while there. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify">The companies are then sorted by quality and listed as leads in the <strong>Web Visitors</strong> inbox of your Pipedrive account, and the visitor information is synced hourly.<br></p>

<p>To convert a web visitor to a <a href="https://support.pipedrive.com/hc/en/articles/360001998358-Leads-Inbox-" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">lead</a>, <a href="https://support.pipedrive.com/hc/en/articles/207344265-Deals-What-they-are-and-how-to-add-them" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">deal</a> or <a href="https://support.pipedrive.com/hc/en/articles/207344305-Contacts-People-and-Organizations-" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">organization</a>, select a visitor in your inbox and click “<strong>+ Lead,</strong>” or click the <strong>“...” </strong>followed by “<strong>+ Deal,</strong>” or “<strong>+ Organization.</strong>”</p>
<p>You can also select <strong>“Link existing organization” </strong>to link the visitor to an organization already in your account.</p>

<p>Our <a href="https://support.pipedrive.com/hc/en/articles/360002296018" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Web Visitors feature</strong></a> is fully committed to GDPR compliance. The <strong>Web Visitors</strong> tracker collects data through <a href="https://help.leadfeeder.com/en/articles/3561400-gdpr-privacy-and-security-summary" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Leadfeeder's AWS infrastructure</a>, where it is encrypted both in transit and at rest. </p>
<p>We collect the behavioral data of all website visitors, which includes pages viewed, visitor sources and time spent on the site. The visitor's IP address is collected to detect the company and geographic location. We only show company visits and automatically filter out all users visiting from residential IP addresses.</p>
<p>If you use <strong>Web Visitors</strong> and want to comply with GDPR we recommend the following:</p>

<li>State your usage of <strong>Web Visitors</strong> in the same places you state your usage of Google Analytics</li>
<li>State your usage of <strong>Web Visitors</strong> in any places you list your usage of tracking and cookies </li>

<h2>What is a unique organization?<a name="what-is-a-unique-organization"></a></h2>
<p>A unique organization is a company that visits your website. If the same company visits your site multiple times, they still count as just one unique organization if they visit within the same month. If the company visits again next month, it will be counted as another unique organization. We filter out ISPs (Internet Service Providers) and other irrelevant traffic so you only pay for quality organizations. </p>

<h2>Can you estimate which tier I will need before I set it up?<a name="can-you-estimate-which-tier-i-will-need-before-i-set-it-up"></a></h2>
<p>There is no way to estimate which tier you will need before setting up the <strong>Web Visitors</strong> feature. This is because there is unfortunately no formula we can apply based on your website traffic volume that would enable us to know what percentage are Internet Service Providers or unique visits.</p>
<p>However, we allow all users to trial <strong>Web Visitors</strong> for 14 days for free before subscribing to a tier. After 7 days of the trial, we will have enough visitor information to provide an estimate of the average number of visitors per month and offer you one of the three pricing plans. You will have the option to subscribe when you receive the subscription offer or at the end of your trial. </p>
<p>Leads hidden within the first 7 days will not be counted towards your visitor count.</p>

<h2>What happens at the end of my free trial?<a name="what-happens-at-the-end-of-my-free-trial"></a></h2>
<p>At the end of your 14-day trial, you will be sent an email notifying you of the trial expiration and the option to subscribe to the subscription offer. You will not be charged unless you choose to subscribe.</p>
<p>If you subscribe to the <strong>Web Visitors</strong> feature during your trial, your subscription will start immediately. </p>

<p>To add the tracker script to your WordPress website, you will need a plugin that will allow you to add code to your website.<br>To find and install a plugin, go to <strong>Plugins &gt; Add new</strong> and search for a plugin that will allow you to add custom code to the header, body and footer of your WordPress website. </p>

<p><br><br>You can also upload your own plugin if you have one in a .zip format. </p>

<p>Once you find a plugin, you can click on "<strong>Install</strong>". There are a lot of plugins to choose from but we are using one called <a href="https://wordpress.org/plugins/header-footer/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Head, Footer and Post injections</a> in this example. <br>The plugin will have to be activated once it has been installed. </p>

<p>Once the plugin has been activated, you can then access the plugin settings and paste your <strong>Web Visitors</strong> tracker script into the header section of every page before saving. </p>

<p>Back in Pipedrive, the tracker script status will only show as <strong>Installed</strong> once your website receives some visits after installing the tracker script. </p>
