Many Pipedrive users prefer to work in our <a href="https://support.pipedrive.com/article/what-features-do-the-mobile-apps-have" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">mobile app</a>, and with <a href="https://support.pipedrive.com/article/insights-feature" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Insights</a> for mobile, you can see all of the reports and dashboards created in your web app on your mobile device.

<h2>Where is the feature located?<a name="where-is-the-feature-located"></a></h2>
Once you have logged into your mobile app account, click the ”...“ in the bottom right corner and select “Insights.”

Insights web view is embedded into the Pipedrive mobile app, so you‘ll see the same reports and dashboards as you see in the web app view.

However, Insights reports can’t be edited or changed within the mobile app. If you want to change a report or dashboard in the mobile app, you need to edit it in the web app. 
If the segment by categories exceeds your visible width, you can click the number dropdown in the bottom right corner to see the full list.

You can tap any report column to see a breakdown of the data represented there.

<h2 style="text-align: justify">Filtering dashboards on mobile<a name="filtering-dashboards-on-mobile"></a></h2>

You can also apply date and user filters to a dashboard by tapping on the date or user icon (in the top right corner) and selecting an option.

When you apply a filter, the filter icon is highlighted blue and all reports are updated according to the chosen option. A blue badge will also appear on each report that is updated.

Switch between dashboards
You can switch between different dashboards by clicking on the dropdown menu (where the name of the currently selected dashboard is shown) and choosing a different dashboard.

All dashboards in the web app appear on the list in the same order, including shared dashboards.

Dashboards are organized by sections the same way in both the web and mobile app, and can be collapsed or expanded by tapping on the name of the section (i.e. shared with me, my dashboards, etc.)

<h2>Search function<a name="search-function"></a></h2>
You can also search for a specific report or dashboard by tapping on the search icon.

Type several letters into the search bar and any relevant dashboards and reports will appear in the results list.

Handwriting notes during your workday is still widespread. To save you time typing up your notes afterward, Pipedrive has a note scanner, which allows you to transcribe handwritten or typed text directly into the app, so all you need to do is edit what you would like to add to your Pipedrive deal or contact.
How it works
When you open the app, go to the deal or contact you would like to add the note to. Click on the plus sign (+) and select "Add a note".

At the bottom of the note, click on the scanning option. You can then focus your camera on your note and click to take a picture. Click "OK" if the image is clear and it will be scanned as a note.

By enabling push notifications in the mobile app, you can stay up to date on the latest progress of your deals, people and organizations in live time.

What features do the mobile apps have?

<div class="support-note primary">Note: The address used in the Nearby Feature will always be the one listed under the default address field for an organization. In the case of a person or deal, you will see the location listed under the default address field of the organization that is linked to that deal or person. This feature is only available on the mobile app, the minimum OS version required to install the mobile app is 9+ for Android devices and 15+ for iOS devices.</div>
Using the mobile app's Nearby feature, you will be able to see the addresses of your contacts that are nearby on a map. This can come in handy if you want to add a personal touch to your sales journey by stopping by when you are in the area, either for a planned meeting or as a surprise.

<h2 style="text-align: justify"><a name="the-nearby-feature-in-the-i-os-app"></a>The Nearby feature in the iOS app:</h2>
To access the Nearby feature on your iOS device, go to your Pipedrive mobile app’s home screen and click More &gt; Nearby. Here, you will see a map with all of the addresses that are near your current location. If it is the first time using the Nearby feature, you will be asked to allow Pipedrive access to your current location.

You can filter the locations that you see by switching between deals, organizations, or people by selecting from the bar at the top. 
If you want to filter the results even further on the map, you can click on the filter icon in the top-right corner and apply any custom or default filters accordingly. Here, you can filter for your <a href="https://support.pipedrive.com/article/what-types-of-custom-fields-are-there" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">address-type custom fields</a> as well, although you can only filter for one address field at a time:

After you find the address you are looking for, you can choose to view details related to that deal or contact, as well as choose to open up the address in your navigation app to be on your way.

To access the Nearby feature, go to your app’s home screen, and hit “…” &gt; Nearby. Here, you will see a map including all of the addresses that are nearby your current location. You will have to allow Pipedrive to access the device’s location if it’s your first time enabling this feature.

From there, you can filter your locations by switching between the deal icon, organization icon and people icon in the top right corner of the screen.
If you want to further filter the results on the map, you can click on the filter icon in the top-right corner under the geo-locator icon and apply any custom or default filters accordingly.
After you find the address you are looking for, you can choose to view details related to that deal or contact, as well as choose to open up the address in your navigation app to be on your way.

The focus view is built to show you information related to the most pressing matters of the day right when you open up your mobile app. Here are the main components of the focus view:

Overdue deals and activities widget In this widget, you can see the number of overdue activities and deals. This will include activities with due dates that have passed. It will also show you deals that are either open and rotten or have an expected close date in the past.

When you're on the move, you may need a quick and efficient way to take notes on your activities, deals and contacts. With the audio notes feature in the Pipedrive mobile app, you can easily take and attach audio recordings as well as use the transcription feature to automatically turn any voice memos directly into a text-type note.

<h2><a name="audio-notes-in-the-i-os-app"></a>Audio notes in the iOS app:</h2>
<div class="support-note success primary">Note: To record and transcribe audio notes, you will first have to turn on the microphone and speech recognition access in your device settings. To enable these settings, go to your device Settings &gt; Pipedrive and turn on Microphone and Speech Recognition. </div>
 Activities: To create an audio note for an activity in your company account, you can click on the activity's summary page and then click "Record audio note". If you want to create a transcribed audio note on your activity's summary page, you can toggle on the Transcription switch and hit the record button to start transcribing your note. You will be able to record and transcribe audio notes up to one minute long.

Deals and contacts: To create an audio note on a deal or contact person detail page, you can go to the deal/contact page and click on the + icon &gt; Audio Note. Tap the red button to start recording.

If you want to create a transcribed audio note under your deals and contacts, you can click on the + icon, then click on "Note". From here, you can click on the microphone icon at the bottom of the keyboard and start recording your audio note to be transcribed.

Activities: To create an audio note for an activity in your company account, you can click on the activity summary page and then click "Record audio note". If you want to attach a transcribed audio note to your activity summary page, you can toggle on the Transcription switch and hit the record button to start transcribing your note. You will be able to record and transcribe audio notes up to two minutes long.

Deals and contacts: To create an audio note on a deal or contact person detail page, you can go to the deal/contact page, then click on the + icon &gt; Record Audio Note. Tap the red button to start recording.

To turn on Pipedrive notifications on your iOS device, go to your iOS settings &gt; Notifications &gt; Pipedrive and select the type of notifications that you would like to see. From here, you will be given options on the activity notifications you wish to receive.

The mobile app’s calendar view will allow you to see all the activities scheduled for that day on the go. With this, you can see what time your day starts and finishes and you can prevent yourself from double-booking activities!

When working in the mobile app, you may run into some technical issues that prevent you from having a seamless Pipedrive experience.
We’ve provided a few troubleshooting tips in this article that you can test out if you run into any loading or syncing issues while using the mobile app. Troubleshooting iOS devices

Updating the app. For the optimal Pipedrive experience, make sure your app is updated to the latest version. To do this you can go to the App Store &gt; Updates &gt; Pipedrive &gt; Update.

Uninstalling and re-installing the app. This will effectively clear any cache issues in your mobile app that could be causing problems as well as update the app to the latest version. To do this, you can go to the home screen of your iOS device, hold down the Pipedrive app until the X shows up in the top left corner of the app icon, and click on the “X” to uninstall the app. To re-install the app, you can go to the App Store &gt; Pipedrive &gt; Get. If you have <a href="https://support.pipedrive.com/article/2fa-two-factor-authentication" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">2FA enabled</a>, you need to open the verification link from a native email app, such as Gmail app, Samsung’s Email app, Microsoft Outlook app, ProtonMail app, etc.

Offline mode is simply when your phone does not have internet access. Unlike on the Pipedrive desktop web app where you need to be online to work, you will be able to work on the mobile apps even if you do not have an internet connection. This is extremely useful for people working on the move. Whether you're in the sky without internet access and still want to take down some notes before your next meeting or on the train on the way to the office, you will always be able to make changes directly in the mobile app.
How does it work?
It’s simple. When you no longer have an internet connection, you will still be able to move deals along your pipeline, add notes, activities and anything you would normally do within the Pipedrive mobile app. When your phone regains an internet connection, Pipedrive will then sync the new or updated data from your mobile app to your web app automatically.

Do the mobile apps work offline?

You can easily upload existing or new photos to deals or contacts on the Pipedrive mobile app when you're on the go. This is extremely useful if you want to take a quick photo of your meeting notes to attach to any relevant contacts or deals or add a snapshot of a contact's business card after meeting them at the latest sales convention.

To attach a photo from your phone to a deal or contact, go to the detail page of a deal or contact, tap on the "+" button, and select "Photo". Pipedrive syncs data between the Pipedrive mobile app and Pipedrive web app regularly, but if you are in a hurry or you have just updated something important, you can manually sync your data from your mobile app.
There are two ways to manually sync your data from the mobile app.

<li>The first way is by dragging your finger down the screen in any view in the mobile app. If the sync is successfully activated, a spinning circle will appear briefly at the top before loading the new data. </li>
<li>
The second way to manually sync your mobile and web data would be to click on either More &gt; Synchronize data in the iOS app or "..." &gt; Synchronize data in the Android app. In this section, you will also be able to see when the data was last synced with the web app.

Clicking on an existing lead will show more information, such as linked Activities (under the Timeline section,) and default and custom field values (under the Details section.)
