Activities are an essential part of sales, as they represent any scheduled action on your part towards closing a deal.
It's important to follow your activities progress to know if you are on track with your everyday tasks. To track the activities progress of you and your team, you can create an Insights Activities Performance report.
To create an activity performance report, click on the plus '+' sign beside Reports in the sidebar and then select Activity > Activities performance.
Your Activities report will show you the added activities for this month by default, but you can adjust and add more conditions to filter by additional activity fields.
For example, you can change “Add time” to “Marked as done time” to view completed activities instead.
You will have the option to choose to view your activities data as a column chart, pie chart, or a scorecard.
At the bottom of the page, you will also see a table containing your report information along with any additionally added activity fields.
Customizing your activities performance report allows you to track questions such as:
- How many activities were completed?
- How many activities were added?
- What activities are planned for this week?
- How many hours (duration) of a certain activity was completed this month?
- Your activities on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis.
The activities you see in your reports can be adjusted in the filtering section at the top of the report. You can edit the existing filter, or select Add condition to add more criteria.
View by (x-axis)
In your report's x-axis, the View by option allows you to view your activities by user, status, or a range of other activity fields.
Measure by (y-axis)
Your activities report will default to measured by Number of activities. You can also change it to measure by Duration, which will show you how many hours were spent on your activities.
You can further break down your column and pie chart by segmenting your activities in the top right corner. When hovering over your data, you will see the breakdown of what you chose to view or segment your data by.
