What are the calling rates when using the Caller?

Note: Starting October 6, 2022, the Caller feature is no longer available for new customers. For customers on the Professional, Power or Enterprise billing plan (who signed up or upgraded before October 6, 2022) the Caller feature is being removed in phases leading up to December 31, 2023. After this date, Caller will no longer be available.

We use Twilio to power our Caller feature. The calling rates you are charged will depend on the country you are in as well as the country you are calling to. On top of the calling rates, you will also be charged the recording fee for any calls you choose to record in Pipedrive. Call rates per minute while using the Caller feature will be the sum of a few factors:

  • Voice minutes (local calls) charge
    The price per minute of this charge will vary based on the country you are calling from and the country you are calling to. To find the rates for the specific calls you are making, check Twilio's pricing page and filter for your country.
  • Browser/App calling charge
    This counts as a "connection fee" and will be charged at $0.004 per minute.
  • Recording charge
    Users who choose to record phone calls will be charged at $0.0025 per minute.

Example 1: Calling from USA > USA

  • Voice minutes charge: $0.0130 per minute
  • Browser/App calling charge: $0.0040 per minute
  • Recording charge: $.0025 per minute


Total:
$0.0130+ $0.0040 + $0.0025 = $.0195 per minute.


Example 2: Calling from USA > Brazil

  • Voice minutes charge: $0.022 per minute
  • Browser/App calling charge: $0.0040 per minute
  • Recording charge: $.0025 per minute


Total:
$0.022+ $0.0040 + $0.0025 = $.0285 per minute.

Note: The Caller tool can only be used in the web app. For mobile calling, your mobile device will be used and carrier rates will be applied. Professional and Enterprise plan subscribers receive $4.00 in bonus credit per user, per month, as part of their subscription. Unused bonus credit expires monthly, however, purchased credits do not.
