To maximize your company's lead prospecting potential, you can add Leads to your Leads inbox in numerous convenient ways.
To manually create a Lead for your Leads Inbox, you can go to your Leads tab and click on Add lead.
When adding a Lead through the Add Lead dialog, you will need to include at least two fields. The Lead's title (mandatory), and one of the following:
- Person's name
- Phone number
When you arrive at the mapping step, you can select the Leads fields icon in the top right corner of your Pipedrive data fields section.
You can map the Pipedrive Leads fields to your spreadsheet columns accordingly to import your Leads into Pipedrive.
Mandatory fields to import Leads
In order to import Leads successfully through the importing function, you will need to include the Lead Title, as well as the Person - name, or Organization - name field.
- Lead Title field
- Person/Organization name
If you have the Leadbooster add-on enabled in your Pipedrive account, you can create a playbook that will create a Lead in your Leads inbox whenever a visitor goes through your Chatbot flow. To have your playbook create Leads rather than deals, select Leads under the Save location field when setting up your playbook.
Your Leads will now go straight to your Leads inbox.
If you use our Web Forms feature to capture leads who visit your website, you can choose to add each web form submission as a Lead.
When setting up your Web Form, go to the Submit options tab > Saving preferences card. Here you can select to save your Web Form submissions as Leads and add a Lead title prefix so that you know which leads came from this Web Form.
Prospector is an outbound lead generation tool that will allow you to search for and gather high quality leads based on set criteria without leaving your Pipedrive account.
Once you sort through the leads Prospector has found for you, you can choose to add the ones that seem most relevant to your business to your Leads Inbox.
The Web Visitors feature will allow you to track visitor activity on your website to track and identify the companies who are most engaged with your website, and as a result, most likely to turn into customers.
When you decide that a Web visitor has the potential to be a sale, you can convert it to a lead, deal, or organization. To do this, you can select the visitor in your Web Visitors inbox and click on +Lead, + Deal, or + Organization under the Linked to visitor section.
