That means you shouldn't share the key with anyone you wouldn't also be comfortable sharing data with.<br><br>Without the key, your account is perfectly safe, so as long as you don't share the key there is no need to worry.</p>

How can I switch between multiple Pipedrive accounts?

<p dir="ltr" style="text-align: justify">Pipedrive won’t delete any of your data when you’re over a limit. However, you’ll be blocked from manually adding more of the exceeded data until you free up space or <a href="https://app.pipedrive.com/settings/subscription/change" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">upgrade to a higher plan</a>. </p>

Both of these can be re-imported when there is more space in your account.</p>

<p dir="ltr" style="text-align: justify">Regular maintenance of your database increases efficiency and lets you achieve higher conversion rates, so here are some tips to help free up space and keep your account running smoothly.</p>

<h2 style="text-align: justify"><a name="deleting-items"></a>Deleting items</h2>
<div class="support-note success primary"><strong><strong>Note: </strong></strong>We recommend <a href="https://support.pipedrive.com/en/article/exporting-data-from-pipedrive" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">exporting data</a> you plan to remove prior to deletion, so it can be added back into your account later on if needed.</div>
<p dir="ltr" style="text-align: justify">The most effective way to free up space in your account is to delete data that isn’t necessary anymore. You can delete individual items in their detail views, or in bulk using the list view. </p>

<p style="text-align: justify">There are some actions available for deals related to data management that other items don’t have. This can be important, especially since the number of open deals you can have is impacted by <a href="https://support.pipedrive.com/article/usage-limits-in-pipedrive" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">usage limits. </a></p>
<p style="text-align: justify"><strong>Converting deals to leads</strong></p>
<div class="support-note success primary"><strong>Note: </strong>The Rotting feature is a great way to see which deals have been stagnating in your pipeline, and potentially need to be moved to your Leads inbox. For more information about that tool, check out <a href="https://support.pipedrive.com/article/the-rotting-feature" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">this article. </a></div>
<p style="text-align: justify">If you have an excess of open deals in your account and need to remove some to make room for new deals, you can move those deals into your Leads inbox. </p>

Keep your data consistent by converting your prospects’ phone numbers to US format

<p style="text-align: justify">We know how important it is to keep your data consistent. Using the wrong phone number format can slow down your team when calling prospects and customers. Plus, inconsistent phone numbers can create duplicate records, cause data issues between platforms and make your phone number data challenging to use and read.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify">The standard American telephone number format has ten digits, where the first three digits are the “area code“ and are between <strong>( )</strong>, while the other seven numbers are separated by <strong>-</strong>. I.e., (555) 555-1234. </p>

<p style="text-align: justify">To convert phone numbers to US format in Pipedrive, your date and time format must be set to <strong>English (United States)</strong>. <p style="text-align: justify">Then, check the <strong>”Convert phone numbers to US phone number format”</strong> option and <strong>save</strong> the changes.</p>
