When working within Pipedrive, you may wonder about the difference between an email sent in Pipedrive and an email activity.
An email is the actual communication you have sent — through the Send Email prompt in Pipedrive — to your prospective customers. These emails are tracked via the Mail tab.
An email activity is a scheduled event, reminding yourself to send along communication to a prospective customer. Email-type activities are tracked via the Activities tab.
It may be helpful to think of this based on the Reports function in the Statistics tab.
Email activities that have been scheduled and completed will be tracked in the Activities completed section of the ACTIVITIES EFFORT area.
Specific emails sent by Pipedrive users will be tracked in the Emails sent section of the ACTIVITIES EFFORT area.
