How to set up two-way email sync

It is easy to set up Full Email Sync in your account. Because it is only available for Gold & Platinum accounts, you'll need to upgrade to one of those before connecting your email account. If for any reason you're not amazed by the benefits of the Gold or Platinum plans, you can always downgrade back to Silver.

Please note you can try Gold plan for free as part of your trial. When you upgrade your plan you’ll need to add your billing details but you won’t be charged before your trial is over. You can downgrade back to Silver or cancel your trial subscription altogether at any time during your trial.

If you're a trial user:

First off, you need to be an admin to switch to a Gold or Platinum pricing plan for your Pipedrive account. If you're not an admin, you'll need whoever your Pipedrive admin is to enable it. Refer to this article for more info on this. Once you're done with this, every single user (both admin and regular) will have access to the Full email sync under Settings > Personal > Email integration, or by simply clicking the Mail icon at the top of Pipedrive.

If you're a paying customer:

Again, you'll need to be an admin to switch from your current subscription to a Gold or Platinum subscription. Click here for more information on what switching from a legacy plan to our new Gold/Platinum plans means for you.
After you've switched to your new plan you will be charged the difference in price immediately. Once you're done with this, every single user (both admin and regular) will have access to the Full email sync under Settings > Personal > Email integration, or by simply clicking the Mail icon in the top of Pipedrive.

How to switch to our Gold/Platinum pricing plan

If you're an admin; go to Settings > Billing. From here, you'll need to select Change plans.

Next, select either our Gold or Platinum plans. If you're a trial user, you'll need to Choose a plan and enter billing details. If you're a paying customer, you'll simply Switch plans and be charged using your current billing details.

 

After you've made the change to a Gold or Platinum plan, you'll be welcomed with a confirmation message that will direct you to your email settings to set up your email sync. Your email settings can also be reached at Settings > Personal > Email integration

Next, click Connect your account. You will then be directed to a log-in prompt where you'll enter the log-in credentials of the email address you'd like to sync. 

Once you're connected, the last step needed is to configure which labels or folders you want Pipedrive to be synced to. You can also opt to just have Pipedrive sync to your entire inbox.

After you've decided on what to sync to, click Start syncing to finish the syncing process. Pipedrive will start syncing all future email from the moment you enable it as well as pull all past email that is 3-days old or newer; so the initial sync will sync all the email threads that have messages not older than 72h

Got an older email you'd like to have synced? You can either reply to it or forward it, and Pipedrive will track this as a new action and it will then be synced to your Pipedrive account.

All done! Now you can access your emails and take full advantage of all your Email integration has to offer.
