Scores in Pipedrive
The Scores feature in Pipedrive increases your efficiency by helping you evaluate the likelihood of closing deals successfully.
With Scores, you can define scoring criteria based on your unique business needs, ensuring that your team focuses on the most valuable opportunities.
You can improve decision-making and keep your sales cycle optimized by prioritizing the deal with a higher score.
How can I access Scores?
To start using scores, click on the Pulse section > Scores.
Once clicked, you’ll see the Score list view, where you can create and manage scores.

How can I set up a Score?
To create a new score, click on “+ Score” and fill in the details section:
Enter a name and description
Select a target entity (currently, you can only choose deals)
Choose the pipeline where the score will apply

Adding criteria
The conditions set in the criteria section are used to calculate the scores. Learn more about how scores are calculated in this article.
You can set up group conditions in the following categories:
Highly positive, adding 25 points to the score

Slightly positive, adding 10 points to the score

Negative, subtracting 10 points from the score

Each category contributes to the score based on the criteria created.
Setting up conditions for the criteria is similar to how filters work in Pipedrive – you can use AND/OR conditions and add multiple conditions in one criteria section.
You’ll see sample criteria in your account to help you get started, but you can also create your own. To provide additional clarity for your team, make sure to name the criteria.

You can test your scoring conditions in the preview section by selecting a deal from your pipeline. It will give you full transparency on how each score is calculated.

Make sure to activate the score and Pipedrive will start prioritizing deals based on the custom setup.

Managing scores
- Edit a score – modify score criteria and settings
- Activate/deactivate scores – control which scores are currently in use
- Delete a score – remove a score if it is no longer needed
How are scores applied to deals?
Once a score is created:
- It appears as a non-editable field in the deal detail and deal list views
- Scores are recalculated automatically when deal data changes
- A pop-up appears when hovering over the score, explaining which factors contributed to the score
